Harry Kane has won the 2026 Ballon d’Or. He is the first Englishman to take the prize in 25 years.
The ceremony took place on Monday night in London. It was moved from its usual home in Paris to mark 70 years since Sir Stanley Matthews won the first award.
Kane joins Matthews, Sir Bobby Charlton, Kevin Keegan and Michael Owen as England’s winners. In the women’s category, Spain’s Alexia Putellas won her third Ballon d’Or.
