Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, says TikTok has invited him to its office in the United Kingdom. He announced the news during a livestream and thanked his fans for the backing.
Peller has more than 17.6 million followers on TikTok. He is 21 years old.
He told viewers that their support pushed the platform to notice him. According to him, the visit is set for next week. He called the invitation a big moment and said he was only just starting out.
Peller also said he plans to speak openly with TikTok staff. He promised to tell them about how the platform works in Africa, including the issue of banned accounts.
The past year has been eventful for the streamer. His livestreaming, which he says he does out of passion and self-expression, has drawn even more attention. He also made headlines by marrying fellow TikToker Jarvis.
