Tragic Outcome: British-Nigerian Entrepreneur Dies Following Cosmetic Procedure in Thailand
Prominent British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo—frequently known online as Denisi or Ego—has passed away at age 43 following complications from an elective cosmetic procedure in Bangkok, Thailand.
Details revealed during an inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court confirmed that Ubiribo suffered a fatal embolism directly linked to the procedure.
Incident Details and Timeline
During a luxury vacation with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, Ubiribo visited an unnamed cosmetic clinic in Bangkok to undergo a penis enlargement procedure.
-
Procedure Specifics: Medical records present at the inquest indicate that Ubiribo was injected with a combined dosage of 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine.
-
Onset of Symptoms: Following the clinic visit, the couple returned to their accommodations at a Bangkok Marriott hotel and subsequently attended a massage session. During the massage, Ubiribo experienced severe chest pain and lost consciousness on two separate occasions.
-
Hospital Care: Emergency services transported Ubiribo to Sukhumvit Hospital. Although initially responsive and able to communicate with attending medical staff, his condition deteriorated rapidly.
-
Medical Findings: Medical personnel were informed of the recent filler injections by his wife. However, before a recommended CT scan could be completed, Ubiribo collapsed again and could not be revived. The coroner ultimately attributed the cause of death to a massive embolism caused by the cosmetic filler injections.
