In a decisive move to streamline administration and curb potential fraud, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has ordered the immediate closure of the secretariat of the dissolved Ad-hoc Committee on Sales of Federal Government Houses (SFGH) in Abuja.

What Triggered the Decision?
The Ad-hoc Committee on Sales of Federal Government Houses was originally tasked with overseeing the disposal and management of government-owned residential properties within the FCT. However, to create a permanent, standardized administrative structure, Minister Wike determined that the interim secretariat setup was no longer required.

Public Advisory: The FCTA urges citizens to be vigilant against fraudsters who may continue to pose as official agents, staff, or members of the defunct SFGH ad-hoc committee. Because the committee and its secretariat no longer exist legally or operationally, any individual claiming to represent them is acting illegally.
