Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez Tie the Knot in Portugal

Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has officially tied the knot with his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez. The couple officially said “I do” during an intimate civil ceremony held in Portugal.

An Intimate Civil Ceremony in Cascais

The private ceremony took place in Cascais, a scenic coastal resort town located roughly 20 miles west of Lisbon.

Rather than hosting a massive star-studded spectacle, the 41-year-old superstar and Rodriguez chose a close-knit affair surrounded by family, including their five children. The couple later shared a photo on Instagram showing off their wedding rings to confirm the happy news to millions of fans worldwide.

From Madrid to Married: A Decade-Long Romance

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since 2016, after first meeting in Madrid while Georgina was working at a Gucci store. Over the past decade, the pair have built a life together across Spain, Italy, the UK, and now Saudi Arabia.

The milestone comes shortly after Ronaldo completed his sixth World Cup campaign—a men’s record he shares with Lionel Messi. Following Portugal’s exit, Ronaldo confirmed it was his final World Cup appearance, noting he plans to take time with his family before making any long-term decisions about his international future.

What’s Next for Ronaldo Ahead of the New Season?

The wedding comes at a busy time for the Portuguese legend. The nuptials took place just four days before Al Nassr kicks off their 2026–27 Saudi Pro League campaign.

With Al Nassr appointing former Tottenham and Celtic manager Ronaldo remains focused on spearheading the club’s title push in the Middle East.
