The PASET Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund (Rsif) offers fully funded PhD scholarships to African graduate students and researchers in applied sciences, engineering, and technology (ASET). The scholarship covers tuition, research, travel, and living expenses, including a monthly allowance. It is aimed at building institutional capacity and contributing to regional development in sub-Saharan Africa.
Eligibility requires candidates to:
- Be sub-Saharan African citizens
- Hold a relevant master’s degree
- Be 35 years or younger
- Willing to enroll full-time in a PhD program for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The scholarship also includes a 6-12 month international placement and gives priority to women and young academic faculty.
The program lasts 3 to 4 years, supporting students in research, training, and innovation across Africa.
