A video of Fuji star Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, known as KWAM 1, presenting his daughter to Lagos Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat has gone viral. Hamzat is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos.
The clip began circulating on social media on Sunday. It shows KWAM 1 calling his daughter, Damilola Marshall, forward at an event. Singing in Yoruba, he then said, “I hand her over to you.”
Hamzat laughed and pointed her to her seat. Damilola, a lawyer, also looked amused. The moment appeared to be a playful show of support for her political plans.
Damilola, popularly called Dami Marshal, wants to represent Surulere Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly. The election is part of the 2027 general elections.
She announced her ambition on March 17, 2026, in a post on Instagram. She said she was ready to serve the people of the constituency. She added that her 12 years in legal practice had shaped her view of governance, justice and community needs. She also promised to speak for young people.
Damilola currently serves as Senior Special Assistant to Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tourism.
