At just 10, Rainikemba Igbokwe is already a published author. The fifth-grader released his first book, Small Boy, Big God, on August 31, 2026.
The book has 47 pages and 10 chapters. Its message is simple. Being young is no reason to dream small.
Rainikemba wants children to believe in themselves. He also wants them to build their talents. Above all, he hopes they find the courage to start, whatever their age.
The young author loves writing, singing, dancing and playing. He also loves worship. His family says his faith and his wish to encourage others pushed him toward writing. Asked about his role model, he named God.
His goals are big. He wants to become a teacher, pastor and missionary. One day, he also hopes to become President.
His parents, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe and Divine Maduike Igbokwe, say they are proud. His father said the book shows what children can do when adults notice their interests early. He urged parents to watch for their children’s gifts and support them.
His mother said the book reflects her son’s love for God and for writing. She added that it carries his wish to lift other children.
Rainikemba hopes the book reaches many young readers. Most of all, he wants it to help them discover their own gifts.
