Mrs. Bilhah Nyam Appointed Jos East Senatorial Mobilizer, Women for 35% Initiative – Plateau State Chapter

The AJU Morgan Elumelu Foundation (AMEF), through its national advocacy platform, the Women for 35% Initiative, proudly announces the appointment of Mrs. Bilhah Nyam as the Jos East Senatorial Mobilizer, Plateau State Chapter.

Born on 26 October 1980 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Adamu of Bokkos LGA, Plateau State, Mrs. Nyam has grown into a strong voice for women’s empowerment, leadership inclusion, and community mobilization. She is married to Mr. Bulus Nyam of Jos East LGA.

Mrs. Nyam holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). As a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, she brings a solid background in administration, stakeholder engagement, and organizational leadership.

Strengthening Women’s Participation Across Jos East

In her new capacity as Senatorial Mobilizer, Mrs. Nyam will:

  • Lead grassroots mobilization efforts across Jos East

  • Strengthen community engagement for women’s leadership

  • Support advocacy for gender-inclusive governance

  • Coordinate programs that promote women’s political participation in Plateau State

Her appointment reinforces the Women for 35% Initiative’s mission to expand women’s representation in governance and decision-making across Nigeria.

AMEF invites partners, community leaders, and the public to join in congratulating Mrs. Bilhah Nyam on her well-deserved appointment.
