Mandela Washington Fellowship Catalyst Grant Application

IREX is thrilled to announce the launch of the Mandela Washington Fellowship Catalyst Grant application, offering a unique funding opportunity for Fellowship Alumni. This initiative, in partnership with D-Prize, a non-profit organization dedicated to distributing and scaling proven poverty interventions, aims to empower Alumni to catalyze change in communities across Africa. Up to two Fellowship Alumni will be selected to receive grants of up to $20,000 USD each to pilot a new initiative targeting extreme poverty.

Requirements

The Mandela Washington Fellowship Catalyst Grant is open to all Fellowship Alumni, regardless of their sector, track, or level of expertise. This grant aims to support Alumni in launching or scaling a social enterprise that delivers a proven poverty intervention at scale. It is important to note that the grant is not intended for prototyping new solutions but for implementing initiatives that have already been proven to combat extreme poverty effectively.
