Hajara Ibrahim Appointed as Women for 35% Initiative Kano State Coordinator

The AJU Morgan Elumelu Foundation (AMEF), through its national advocacy arm, the Women for 35% Initiative, proudly announces the appointment of Hajara Ibrahim as the new Women for 35% Kano State Coordinator.

A respected peacebuilding practitioner across Northern Nigeria, Hajara Ibrahim serves as a Women Peacebuilding Council (WPC) Coordinator, Community Peace Observer, and Certified Mediator. Her extensive contributions to conflict resolution, women’s inclusion, and community dialogue have earned her a sterling reputation as a champion for peaceful and inclusive governance.

For years, Hajara has played a critical role in strengthening community resilience, fostering cooperation between diverse groups, and amplifying the role of women in decision-making spaces. Her expertise in mediation and grassroots engagement positions her as a strategic asset to the Women for 35% Initiative’s mission in Kano State.

Driving Women’s Political Participation and Peacebuilding
