The Women for 35% Initiative, a flagship program of the AJU Morgan Elumelu Foundation (AMEF), proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Queen Ifeoma Osuala (Ph.D) as the new Multi-State Coordinator overseeing Imo, Rivers, Abia, Anambra, and Enugu States.
Widely celebrated as “Madam Due Process,” Dr. Osuala stands out as a distinguished academic, renowned sociologist of education, gender advocate, grassroots political mobilizer, media professional, and humanitarian whose work perfectly aligns with AMEF’s mission to strengthen women’s political participation and leadership capacity in Nigeria.
A native of Imo State and a respected member of a royal family in Mgbaitoli LGA through marriage, Dr. Osuala currently lectures at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku, Rivers State. She has authored notable academic works, published widely in international journals, and contributed significantly to the advancement of education, gender equity, and community development across Nigeria.

Scope of Her Mandate Across Five States
As Multi-State Coordinator, Dr. Osuala will be responsible for:

Driving gender-inclusion campaigns, policy reforms, and legislative advocacy

Facilitating collaborations with government agencies, CSOs, religious institutions & professional bodies

Supporting local and regional partnerships to expand AMEF’s impact
